His treatment approach involves a combination of structural, cranial and soft tissue techniques which are effective for a wide range of muscular, nerve and joint problems.
He has a keen interest in posture and the problems that can be caused by your work, whether you are a computer user, HGV driver or a builder.
Osteopathy is ideal for treating work-related problems and we also provide advice on how to prevent these problems reoccurring. Take a look at our Ergonomics page for more information.
Experienced in treating adults with severe disabilities, including cerebral palsy, Robert is aware of the physical problems that can occur with these conditions and the benefits of osteopathic treatment. He is currently working with the clients at the Beds Garden Carers charity for adults with learning disabilities.
He has studied martial arts for over 30 years and has a good understanding of the types of injury that can occur during training and how those problems can be treated.
Working with athletes from many different sports including triathlon, cycling and power-lifting, we have provided advice on exercises for prehabilitation (injury prevention) and post-injury rehabilitation.
Sollus Healthcare provides osteopathic support for the Northants Phoenix and Stallions Wheelchair Basketball team and the Northampton Swimming Club.
We are also actively involved with local sports clubs including the Progressive Training Systems fitness centre where we have worked with Faye Jordan who is a regular competitor in National powerlifting events and recently won Northampton’s Inspirational Woman Award.
